Hi All,

I wanted to point you to a new way to practice and improve your English by watching captioned videos and playing some associated skill building activities.

Yolango (www.yolango.com) is a new website that turns a great selection of web videos into a powerful new learning tool. Every video is fully transcribed and enhanced with clickable captions, which provide on demand word level translations from English into 13 other languages as well as extensive definitions and usage examples.

I am one of the people behind the site so would very much appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

    This is a great website. The clickable features are wonderful and the videos provide interactive activities and games that include all langauge skills including listening, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension . Great efforts. Can teachers use this website at schools? How can they get a permission?

    Thanks for your feedback, Magda. So glad you appreciate our efforts! Teachers are more than welcome to use Yolango with their students – in class or for use at home. It is free of charge. We plan to add lots more videos and features in the future so please don’t be shy about sending us suggestions and requests.

    Thanks, Travis. Will you add features such as that of YouTube to provide HTM codes so that teachers can incorporate the video or the lesson into their school websites? I will provide other suggestions that may come up while using Yolango. I bookmarked the website. I think you can also create a community here at LearnHub under the name Yolango. I will be happy to join.
